At Origin Nature Journeys, we strive to curate meaningful travel experiences based on your interests, preferences, and adventure goals. Before booking a tour, please read these Terms & Conditions carefully. By booking a tour with us, you agree to comply with the terms outlined below.

1. General Booking Terms

Tours are confirmed upon receipt of a 20% advance payment, allowing us to initiate logistical arrangements and reserve required services.

The remaining 80% balance must be paid at least 60 days prior to the tour start date. Once received, all operational bookings and supplier payments will be finalized.

Origin Nature Journeys reserves the right to make reasonable changes to group departures, itineraries, accommodations, transport, meal plans, activity schedules, or pricing due to operational requirements, weather conditions, local regulations, safety considerations, or supplier availability. Any such changes will be communicated promptly and will not materially affect the overall quality of the experience.

2. Pricing & Payment

Tour prices may be quoted in INR, USD, EUR, or GBP depending on the customer’s location and booking requirements.

Any bank transfer charges, intermediary fees, currency conversion costs, or transaction fees must be borne by the customer to ensure the full booking amount is received.

Payments can be made through:

• Direct Bank Transfer

• Wise (TransferWise)

• PayPal

• Secure Online Payment Link

• Debit or Credit Card (additional processing fees may apply)

Proforma invoices, payment receipts, and confirmation emails shall serve as proof of booking.

Cash payments are generally discouraged but may be accepted under exceptional circumstances.

3. Cancellation & Refund Policy

Tours may be rescheduled within one year of the original departure date if notification is received more than 90 days before departure. Rescheduling beyond one year may incur additional charges.

Exceptions may be considered at the sole discretion of Origin Nature Journeys based on individual circumstances.

4. Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that all travelers obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering:

• Medical emergencies

• Personal accidents

• Flight cancellations or delays

• Loss of baggage or personal belongings

• Emergency evacuation

• Trip interruption or cancellation

• Personal liability

Travel insurance is not included in the tour price and remains the sole responsibility of the traveler.

5. Liability & Disclaimer

Origin Nature Journeys acts as a tour organizer and facilitator. While every effort is made to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, participation in adventure travel involves inherent risks.

Origin Nature Journeys shall not be held liable for:

• Actions or omissions of third-party service providers

• Flight delays, cancellations, or schedule changes

• Loss, theft, or damage of personal belongings

• Injuries arising from participation in tour activities

• Force majeure events beyond our control

Travelers participate in all activities at their own risk and are expected to exercise reasonable care and judgment throughout the tour.

6. Changes to Services & Itineraries

We reserve the right to alter itineraries, accommodations, transportation, activities, or services due to:

• Weather conditions

• Safety concerns

• Government regulations

• Natural disasters

• Political unrest

• Supplier availability

• Operational requirements

Alternative arrangements of comparable standard will be provided whenever reasonably possible.

7. Health & Fitness Requirements

Certain tours offered by Origin Nature Journeys involve physical activity including cycling, trekking, kayaking, wildlife exploration, and outdoor adventure experiences.

Guests are responsible for ensuring they are medically fit to participate and should consult a medical professional where necessary.

Any medical conditions, allergies, dietary requirements, or special needs must be disclosed at the time of booking.

8. Data Protection & Privacy

Personal information collected during enquiries and bookings will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection regulations.

Information may be used for:

• Booking confirmations

• Tour operations

• Customer support

• Invoicing and payment processing

• Marketing communications (only where consent has been provided)

We take appropriate measures to safeguard personal information and maintain confidentiality.

9. Photography & Marketing

During tours, photographs and videos may be taken for promotional and marketing purposes.

By participating in a tour, guests grant Origin Nature Journeys permission to use such content on websites, social media platforms, brochures, and other promotional materials unless a written request is made prior to the tour.

10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

Origin Nature Journeys operates under applicable laws and regulations of India.

Any disputes arising from bookings, services, or agreements shall be governed by the laws of India and subject to the jurisdiction of competent courts in Kerala, India.
